A consistent image style starts before you export

Build a visual language with light, background and framing before thinking about the final file.

Choose a small visual vocabulary

A coherent image collection does not require every picture to look identical. Start with a few shared choices: a neutral background, a limited palette and a similar direction of light. Write those choices down so the next session begins with the same foundation.

Keep the important variables steady

When photographing a series, keep the camera position and subject distance reasonably consistent. Watch how shadows move and how reflective surfaces respond. A small change in the setup can look much larger when images sit beside each other in a grid. Take a reference picture of your arrangement before moving anything.

Compare the collection together

Review several images at once rather than polishing each in isolation. Look for differences in brightness, white balance and the size of the subject within the frame. Decide which variations feel intentional and which interrupt the collection. Consistency is a useful guide, but it should still leave space for a distinctive detail.

Finish for the destination

Before exporting, check the required dimensions and file type for the intended use. Inspect both a detailed view and the actual display size. Keep an original copy and save delivery files separately. A clear visual standard makes future batches easier to create and gives your audience a more recognisable experience.
